Sauvignon Blanc 2018


Aromas of fresh cut limes and green pineapple are evident. Our own Pipers Brook fruit provides the vibrant green spice and gooseberry. The palate is fresh with bright fruit characters evident, balanced with natural acidity and a long, dry finish. Texture from lees stirring post fermentation provides depth on the palate and interest to food matchings.

Cave Block Chardonnay 2016


Delicate white floral notes initially lift out of the glass before the more noticeable aromas of ripe fresh cut nectarine combines with nougat, hazelnuts and mixed dried spices. Flavours of nectarine and citrus form the core of the fruit characters, with brioche and crushed nuts adding complexity and a sense of texture. The warmer vintage gives a more generous finish, but the hallmark fine acidity is still the driver through the palate, giving life and focus to the fruit flavours.

Cottage Block Pinot Noir 2015


A billowing cloud of rose petal, five spice and fresh red cherries rise from the glass on first approach. These subside and the darker and wild summer fruits such as boysenberry and blackberry become apparent, with cedarwood and vanillin sweetness building after 1-2 hours of opening. The palate is defined by the hallmark soft silky tannins and lifted acid profile, typical of the cottage block. Red fruits provide most of the flesh in the lingering palate. Spice derived from the fruit and whole bunch fermentation is layered with spice extracted from the French oak barriques during maturation.

Single Site Swansea Pinot Noir 2015


Characteristic Swansea fruit and oak spice are first evident on the nose, but if patience allows, then with two to three hours of gentle breathing (decanting is not required), these aromas build with dark floral notes, above richer deep plum, blueberries and cinnamon. The fruit has lovely palate presence, with rich texture giving depth to vibrant dark fruits, soft plush tannins and natural acidity providing balance, length and generosity. Careful cellaring over 8-12 years will richly reward those looking for the complexity that completes a fine Pinot Noir.
